Back in September, I had the opportunity to teach Weather Photography at the Living History Farms Photo Day. For those of you not familiar with this event, it’s held annually in Mid – September and features a wide range of photography topics taught by instructors who volunteer their time every year. Classes are taught outside, at the various buildings and sights around the farm grounds. Unlike some of the other photography classes, these classes are informal and much more personal.
I would like to thank everyone who attended, as well as the many people who worked countless hours to make it a success. A special thanks for Christian Photo for their continued support of this event every year. In the world of technology we live in today, I encourage everyone to stop by their local camera store and support them. We have lost many camera stores over the years and the few that remain certainly need our support.
For those interested, you can download my handout from the class here: weather-photography-handout.
In case you missed this year’s Photo Day, next year’s will be held at Living History Farms on September 16, 2017. I hope to see you there!
