Over the past 2 years I have wrote a couple of different papers for various assignments in classes. I'm also sure that I will have to write several more papers before my college career is over, including the all important senior thesis paper. Currently, most of the papers that I have wrote are not completely scientific in nature, but they are revolved around science in nature. They are listed below and hopefully they are linked with a pdf copy of the paper. If they are not currently linked, hope for the link to be coming soon!

A Lightning Abstract is a short research paper on lightning, the different types and ways to research. This paper was written my senior year of high school for my final in College English Composition.

Fujita Scale Flaws is an essay about the different flaws in the original Fujita scale, this essay is quite short and doesn't contain a lot of scientific knowledge, rather a brief overview of flaws that the scale can have.

Lake Cairo is a paper that was written for the final lab in my Watershed Hydrology and Surficial Processes class. Lake Cairo was a lake that was previously located in central Iowa, up until the late 1800s when it was drained to make way for farmland. Surprisingly, many lakes in Iowa that would be present today were drained many years ago to allow for more land for farming.
