Parts of Northwestern / Western Iowa received several inches of heavy, wet snow over the past 24 hours. Luckily for the rest of the state, the precip began and stayed all rain. Below is a map of snowfall totals as of Saturday night.

Even though Central Iowa may have dodged this bullet, things look to get fun during the upcoming week. Another low pressure system is forecast to move through the Midwest, bringing a wintery mix to areas in Central and Southern Iowa. I can honestly say after last winter, I’m still tired of the white stuff.
